As this is not a large scale project I was not concerned with the limitations of Firebase.

is it a good idea to keep on pinging firebase database as it has limits for free plan

As this is not a large scale project I was not concerned with the limitations of Firebase. If it is a large scale project, purchasing a paid plan is recommended :) Cheers
